ACSLS 8.x - Running the pkg_uninstall.sh Script Will Remove All "forceload: drv" Entries From The /etc/system File Causing System to Potentially Hang on Reboot (Doc ID 1673772.1)

Symptoms

When ACSLS 8.x is removed from a system via the pkg_uninstall.sh script, the ACSLS "preremove" script is invoked and removes all "forceload: drv" driver entries in the /etc/system file by design.

In one example EMC powerpath was installed on the ACSLS server, and EMC storage was provisioned for /export/home and /export/backup.

EMC Powerpath requires the following forceloads in the /etc/system file:

After running the pkg_uninstall.sh script to remove ACSLS, these forceloads were removed from the /etc/system file and the system hung at boot.

Changes

Ran  the ACSLS pkg_uninstall.sh script
