Solaris 11.1 net-snmp Dumps Core When snmpd.conf Contains An Incorrect Logmatch Parameter (Doc ID 1674213.1)

If the snmpd config file contains a "logmatch" parameter with an incorrect regex expression, net-snmp crashes when attempting to start or restart.

Example of an incorrect regex expression that will crash snmpd:

In this example substring "starting\ $^" is incorrect because:
^ - start string symbol
$ - end string symbol
String cannot have end before start.
