Old zpool is importable even after Solaris 11.x is newly installed on the same partition of the same disk

If the root disk was used as a zpool before Solaris 11.x installation, it's possible that the old vdev label is still valid and the old pool can be imported even if the new OS is installed in the same partition of the same disk.
Importing such an old pool results in the zpool corruption. This happens on SPARC systems if the disk is formatted with the VTOC label and the partition 0 used for the zpool started from the sector 0.
In the following example, c0t5000CCA016246560d0s0 was used as a zpool "oldpool" before.
Now Solaris 11.x is newly installed in the same partition c0t5000CCA016246560d0s0.
