On June 3rd, 2014, Oracle announced the end of life (EOL) of the following Acme Packet 3820/4500 network
interface units (NIUs):
- Network interface unit with four 1000 Mb/sec ethernet fiber or copper ports with in-line IPsec and/or SRTP
encryption processors - Network interface unit with four 1000 Mb/sec ethernet fiber or copper ports with QoS measurement
processors and in-line IPsec and/or SRTP encryption
This end of life announcement covers all factory installed, field upgrade and spare SKUs for the two Acme Packet
3820/4500 network interface units listed above.
End of Service Life: May 31st, 2020
