Symptoms

Installed Oracle HSM on a Solaris 11 (x86 or SPARC) server. Additionally we have ACSL 8.x running on a Solaris/Linux server.

When we startup the O-HSM processes, the EQ for the library shows running, but all of the tape drives show down and the error is "device down due to reported ACS state".

When looking at the drives via the acsls host, they all show online.
