Solaris rcapd may consume large amounts of memory (Doc ID 1900198.1)

Under certain conditions rcapd can grow to several gigabytes in size.  One could doubt whether it is reasonable to limit the RAM or physical memory usage of processes if rcapd itself starts consuming so much memory.  In this case, for example, rcapd grew to a size of 20 GB after an uptime of 14 days:
