Unable to disable Solaris Multipathing for local boot disks (Doc ID 1904440.1)

Symptoms

After running  "stmsboot -d" to disable multipathing the system rebooted with multipahing still enabled. When
 "stmsboot -d" was run again the following message appeared


multipathing to the Local disks was still enabled.
