Last updated on JULY 20, 2014

Applies to:

Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 5.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

To assign application objects to LDAP-authenticated users with the Oracle Secure Global Desktop (SGD) Administration Console, the SGD administrator can follow the steps at: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E41492_01/E41495/html/apps-publishing.html#assign-apps-ldap-users

In some situations, the Administration Console will report a "Critical Error."  This condition may be reported for LDAP users at a certain nested depth within the LDAP Directory.

For example, if the top level of the LDAP Directory is:

     o=Indigo

and the user is:

    uid=user1,ou=Users,o=Indigo
