ASM ( Application Storage Manager ) is the StorageTek brand name for SAMFS.
Symptoms
Volumes were added to the SAM-Remote server. The volumes were not propagated over to the SAM-Remote client catalog.
Changes
New tapes were entered into the tape library, directly attached to a SAM-Remote server.
