Symptoms

MV (media validation) is configured with drives from drive pool and validation is enabled but the media remains in the 'pending' state and never gets validated

If the customer initiates a validation from the SLConsole, it can be seen from the STA GUI.

The customer is attempting to do the 'MIR' validation (Verify and Rebuild MIR).
