ASM Griddisk, Diskgroup and Failure Group Mapping Is Not as Recommended (Doc ID 1916769.1)

Symptoms

When running automatic checks:

Grid Disk name RECOC2_CD_09_####_celadm10 does not have cell name () suffix Naming convention not used. Cannot proceed further with  automating checks and repair for bug 12433293.

The hostname of storage cells is RFC 1123 compliant however the restrictions to the values of attributes do not allow the use of the hyphen "-" symbol.

Restrictions on Values of Common Attributes
The following restrictions apply to the values of attributes common to multiple CellCLI objects.
The value of the name attribute must be less than 256 characters and composed only of the following ASCII characters (alphanumeric and underscore only):
        Lowercase alphabetic characters (a to z)
        Uppercase alphabetic characters (A to Z)
        Numbers (0 to 9)
        Underscore (_)
