System hang, threads blocked in DISM code (Doc ID 1917153.1)

Symptoms

 This document describes a system hang while thread block in DISM as in BUG 15794950, and steps to verify and confirm it is actually BUG 15794950,


* "ipc -a" shows 150G (161061289984) of DISM

 

* The above hang is due to BUG 15794950:
"...There is performance degradation when multiple processes are mlocking chunks (e.g. 4MB) of large pages (1GB or 2GB). This is causing unnecessary page locking/unlocking of a large page which generates high system time...."
