Launching of Oracle Secure Global Desktop Kiosk Mode Application on a Multi-Monitor Based Client Always Result in Displaying it on the Primary Monitor (Doc ID 1923568.1)

Symptoms

From a client PC configured with Multiple Monitors a user attempst to launch a full screen (Kiosk mode) application e.g. Solaris CDE session) via Oracle Secure Global Desktop (SGD). The user finds that the application always diplays on the Primary monitor. This happens irrespective of whether or not the <KioskArea> directive in 'profile.xml' file is set to use different monitor.

Changes

Any attempt to set the kioskarea client attribute is currently either ignored or set to zero.
