(Doc ID 1925587.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 20, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 5.0 to 5.2 [Release 5.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Mac OS X users accessing remote Windows desktop applications via Secure Global Desktop (SGD) may report that some keyboard mappings are not working as expected--even when mappings have been manually defined using the SGD client interface.
An example manifestation of this behavior is seen on clients using Swiss-German keyboard layouts on a Mac OS X client, accessing a Windows desktop:
- Windows: "Alt Gr + 2"
- Mac OS: "Alt + G"
Note: This behavior is only seen on Windows applications; users will find that mappings work as expected with X11 applications.
