The X Security Extension Can not be Selected When X Authentication is Disabled within a Secure Global Desktop Array (Doc ID 1931811.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 10, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 4.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A secure Global Desktop Administrator will find that when the X Authentication parameter has been disabled within a SGD array, the X Security extension is not configurable on a per-application level.

This combination may be seen when the SGD server is responsible for provisioning applications that need X Security Extensions in parallel with applications that explicitly do not work with XAuthentication.

Changes

X Authentication has been disabled in the Secure Global Desktop array, where it is enabled by default.
