Solaris Cluster Using Recursive Option of 'clresource/clrs' Command Fails with 'Unrecognized option - "-r".' (Doc ID 1932197.1)

Symptoms

There is a convenient productivity option for clresource (clrs) command for Solaris Cluster 3.x and 4.x. When you have many resource groups configured with many resources you can do recursive operations such as enabling or disabling using the + (plus) meta character. You can also do those operations by resource type, for example enable or disable all of your oracle_server or GDS (SUNW.gds Generic Data Service).
However, when you use the documentation suggested "-r" recursive option you will get a usage error:
