SL150 - Network Configuration Conflict - Use of 192.168.10.x On Network Port1
Last updated on DECEMBER 05, 2017
Applies to:StorageTek SL150 Modular Tape Library - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
SL150 do not configure management network(Network Port 1) into subnet: 192.168.10.x.
As this overlaps with Network Port 2 default and hard coded IP: 192.168.10.10/24
You will end up in a situation where port 1 will respond to 192.168.10.10 and port 2 will not. Also other odd behavior might appear.
In case you don't have port 2 enabled, this is probably not an issue, but to avoid problems, do not use 192.168.10.x IP range with port 1.
