SAM-QFS - SAMFS Ignoring "no-recycle" Directive (Doc ID 1936196.1)

Goal

The SAMFS /etc/opt/SUNWsamfs/recycler.cmd file is set to ignore the following tapes using the "no_recycle" directive:

  no_recycle li HL.* HR.* HQ3.* 101.*



But why does the recycler continue to attempt to clean off tapes, as shown in the recycler.log file ?

   Waiting for VSN li:101064 to drain, it still has 1413 active archive copies.
  Waiting for VSN li:101121 to drain, it still has 14801 active archive copies.
  Waiting for VSN li:101125 to drain, it still has 176267 active archive copies.
