Sun Ray Software (SRS) utsetup Command Fails During Patching Phase

Installation of Sun Ray Software (SRS) may fail during the phase where it is patching the system. 

In this scenario, the top level error reads (using patch 150104-03 as an example):

Patch 150104-03 failed to install due to a failure produced by pkgadd

Meanwhile, the deeper errors can be found in various patch logs in /var/sadm/patch/ and look like this:

This appears to be an attempt to install the same architecture and version of a package which is already installed.  This installation will attempt to overwrite this package.

 The permissions on the /var/tmp  directory have been restricted from their intended 755 value.
