Symptoms
Some Oracle ZFS Storage appliances might have shipped from the factory without an internal USB Drive.
While this drive is not used by the appliance, its absence may cause an incorrect BIOS boot device order after installation of the appliance kit (AK) software. This will result in an unbootable system.
Note: The ZS3-ES is not affected by this boot order issue and will continue to be shipped without the USB drive. New shipments of the ZS3-4 will have the USB drive installed to prevent the issue from occurring. The presence of "[P B USB:02.82;01 Unigen PSA4000]" or similar in the list of BIOS boot devices denotes the presence of this internal USB drive.
