Running ls -l in /dev/rdsk is Slow (Doc ID 1948694.1)

Running "ls -l" in /dev/rdsk is very slow.  Commands that utilise device links can also be very slow to complete, e.g. format.

Affected processes may have stack traces similar to the following:

Where that is zero T and the process ID ( pid )
