Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 4.63 to 5.6 [Release 4.0 to 5.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Details
This document is maintained as a dynamic addendum to the published release notes for Oracle Secure Global Desktop (SGD) and is intended to provide additional information regarding the test and support status of 3rd party client browsers that are made available after revisions of the SGD product have been formally certified, and released.
As always, Oracle's Desktop Virtualization team strongly recommends that SGD Administrators maintain existing production deployments on the latest maintenance platforms to ensure access to the latest security and stability patches as outlined within the Secure Global Desktop Release Announcement Reference, (Doc ID 2093579.2).
While many browsers will work with Oracle's SGD product, customers are responsible for testing browser platforms that are not formally certified as supported to ensure expected operation. Formally supported client browsers are defined within the Release Notes for each respective release. With this document, Oracle will agree to best effort in investigating any customer-reported issues with successfully tested browser combinations defined below, so long as those issues are reproduced on the latest comprehensive patch level of Long Term Support (LTS) maintenance platforms.
