Tapes cannot be put online in LTFS on T10K-D drives (Doc ID 1952336.1)

Symptoms

Two tapes cannot be put  in online status.

ltfs -V
LTFS version 1.2.6 (20130711_orcl)
LTFS Format Specification version 2.0.0

We tried to load the tapes in the drive via ACSLS and run ltfsck, but no change.

In the LTFS logs there were errors that it could not mount the volume  :

The error message indicate that we can't read  the LTFS  label.

However the tapes were not relabeled.

 


Changes

Firmware of  T10KD was downgraded from Code Version : 4.07.107-5.40 to Code 4.06.106-5.40
