Unable To Import From Essbase In OBIEE Admin Tool 11g (Doc ID 1959656.1)

Symptoms

While trying to import metadata using the OBI Admin Tool ,you are getting the below error message.

"Not able to connect to Essbase from Admin tool. Connection type "Essbase 9" (???). General message
The Connection has failed, Essbase error -2086716559 (the numeric part changes)."

You also see the below messages in the NQSAdminTool.log -

[2015-01-06T15:39:07.000+00:00] [OracleBIServerComponent] [NOTIFICATION:1] [] [] [ecid: ] [tid: 1bcc]  [46153] The configuration file (security.xml) was not found or is inaccessible.
