Updated Smf Repository With New Timeout Value For Ftp - Not Taking New Value (Doc ID 1961719.1)

Symptoms

Attempting to update smf repository with new timeout value for the ftp server smf service - however it is not taking new value, as it should.

Customer made the changes as described in the following KB article:  How to Set a New Timeout Value For FTP Using inetadm(1M) in Solaris 10, 11

This resulted in:

  

  

The /etc/inetd.conf file and the /etc/ftpd/ftpaccess files were also checked;   the timeouts were commented out in ftpaccess and the value changed to 7200 in inetd.conf.

Timeout value is still not being set to 7200.



Changes

Customer made the changes correctly as described in <Document 1988570.1> How to Set a New Timeout Value For FTP Using inetadm(1M) in Solaris 10, 11


Seemingly no effect.
