"mpt_check_task_mgt: Task 0x3 failed" warning when booting or installing from Solaris 11.2 media (Doc ID 1966136.1)

Symptoms

 When booting from a Solaris 11.2 CD/DVD you may encounter following warning messages:

 These warnings can prevent the system from booting or installing Solaris 11.2 from the DVD.

Changes

 A workaround has been introduced in the mpt driver, to address LSI firmware bug, but resulted in the above message. Now a fix in the mpt driver has been implemented, that no longer echoes the messages during boot.
