There are certain known scenarios where global and non-global zones become out of sync with regard to patches. When this occurs, fixes and updates are not
applied unilaterally. Native Solaris 10 non-global zones built from those scenarios often have problems with network security services (ssh, Kerberos, etc.), logins and logging
and other common network services in the non-global zone.

Common problems reported include inability to login via ssh as well as other necessary services (NFS, sendmail, rpcbind, etc.) not able to startup.

The affected services will register as "offline" or "uninitialized":
