Purpose
As of 03-03-2015, Oracle has rebranded the product name for SAM-QFS.
It is now "Oracle Hierarchical Storage Manager (HSM) and StorageTek QFS Software", which was formerly known as "StorageTek Storage Archive Manager and Storagetek QFS (SAM-QFS)".
The initial release under this new product name will be the Oracle Hierarchical Storage Manager (HSM) and StorageTek QFS Software 6.0 release. Please note that the functionality of the Oracle HSM 6.0 release is identical, in features and bug fix content, to that of the SAM-QFS 5.4-02 release.
