Goal

This document describes the steps to recover a single drive using the fscli tool if the drive not suspected to be actually bad. For example if during a replacement process, the incorrect drive is pulled by mistake.

The following list can help determine if this document should be used:

If the drive is listed in a "RECOVERED" state
If the drive is listed in a "RECOVERED, IN USE" state

If multiple drives have failed, it is recommended that Oracle support be engaged to reduce the exposure to data loss.
