First time configuring Fibre Channel Luns. The OS is Solaris 11.2, The remote device is a Netapp Cluster.

Symptoms

Newly mapped LUNs not seen by Solaris.

fcinfo remote-port -s -p command list "Error has occured. HBA_ScsiReportLUNsV2 failed.  reason ERROR" message.

 

# fcinfo remote-port -s -p 100000xxxxxxxxxx
