Loss of access to 6180 storage array luns and path errors, which based on standard evaluation would indicate storage side or hardware fault when the issue is a incorrect setting on one or more Brocade switches.
Symptoms
Switch side
Increase in port error show counters against storage array ports not server side connection.
Increase in enc out, link fail, loss sig
Server side
message file will contain
Changes
This issue can appear when a switch is replaced or is not configured correctly.
Older firmware versions (FOS 6.4.0 and below) had a default of 500 for Edge Hold Time, this was changed in later firmware releases to 220
