Asset missing the LDOM Icon in BUI after Oracle VM Server for SPARC agent deployed (Doc ID 1995668.1)

Goal

The customer deployed an Oracle VM Server for SPARC agent via Ops Center, but were unable to see all three expected icons in the asset tree.

Customer expected to see icons for the system Hardware, LDOM SPARC, and Oracle Solaris:

But no matter what was tried they only would see the following:

And after troubleshooting (steps below) the problem actually worsened in that they only saw the following:

All of the following steps were tried but the problem persisted:

- Ensured the virtualization.type was set to "ldom" (not zone):
   # grep virtualization.type /opt/sun/n1gc/lib/XVM_AGENT.properties
      virtualization.type=ldom
   # grep virtualization.type /opt/sun/n1gc/lib/XVM_SERVER.properties
      virtualization.type=ldom

- Completely removed the Ops Center agent, re-installed from the command line as follows:
   /var/scn/install/uninstall -A
   Then ./install -l for sol10  (for sol11 use ./install -l -p <PC ip> )

- Removed everything down to the Ilom and re-discovered Ilom+OS+ re-deployed the agent as Oracle VM Server for SPARC

- Restarted the Proxy

Note: Removal of OS and OS provision was not tried
