Updates to the Oracle Hardware Management Pack Libraries (HMP) in Solaris 11.2 SRU 11.2.8.4.0 implemented polling of disk devices.
This issue has also been reported on Solaris 10 with Oracle Hardware Management Pack - Tools and the QLogic QConvergeConsole CLI (CNA Configuration Utility) installed.
