MaxRep: Installing Oracle Agent 3.0.0.0 for Windows Fails with Error Code 802 (Doc ID 2004852.1)

Symptoms

This issue occured using Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit (French version).

An Oracle_Agent_3.0.0.0_Windows_GA_21Oct2014_release.exe installation was attempted and a pop-up was received displaying the following error message at the end of the installation:


The services console shows the InMage Scout FX Agent service but the InMageVSSProvider is missing.
