Root User Unable to Authenticate to Oracle Secure Global Desktop

The local privileged user, typically root, may find themselves unable to authenticate at the SGD login screen.
A Secure Global Desktop Administrator may have made changes to the SGD configuration parameters, specifically the allowed login mechanisms.
