Last updated on JANUARY 18, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Session Monitor - Version 2.x and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The problem and its symptoms:

In regards to the Voice Quality Summary report or the RTP recording feature, checking the sample pcap file or the corresponding call's pdf file, the information provided by the tool seems not correct. One RTP stream with a destination IP address that is not involved in the media negotiation (=not part of any SDP) is a part of the pcap (and the pdf's Voice Quality information). In fact it is an IP address belonging to a different Peer/Customer. How can it be explained?
