Non-global Zones on Solaris 11 May Show Incorrect Swap Usage When Swap is Capped (Doc ID 2013638.1)

Symptoms

When a non-global zone running on Solaris 11 systems  has a swap capping, swap(1M) can show incorrect values. Also df(1M) for the swap can be affected.

 

In this example, the swap size of the non-global zone 'zone0' is capped to 8 GB
