Oracle is providing the Manufacture Discontinuance Announcement (MDA) of the following EAGLE Software Releases detailed below.

This announcement provides information to assist customers in planning for technology evolution. There is no change to the requirement that customers maintain Software at the current Major Release or no more than two Major Releases back to be eligible for warranty and post warranty support under contract. A summary of the life-cycle phases is included in this Product Bulletin.
Lifecycle Phases
General Availability/Limited Availability (GA/LA) Phase
Upgrades supported
RFFs accepted
Orderable by all customers, except when designated as “LA”
Support provided for all Service Request (SR) severities
After Manufacturing Discontinuance Announcement (MDA) issued (typically provided one year prior to MD), all above apply except:
New RFFs considered for next Major Release
Not recommended for new installations
Upgrade to current Major Release available, provided that Customer is within two Major Releases of the current Major Release
Manufacturing Discontinued (MD) Phase
Maintenance Releases may be provided for one year after MD (at Oracle’s discretion)
Not recommended for new installations
TAC Support provided on a commercially reasonable efforts basis:
Support for Critical, Severity 1 SRs, which may be provided via workaround
Support for Severity 2 SRs provided at Oracle’s discretion
Upgrade to the current Major Release may be required
Custom migration plan may be required.
End-of-life (EOL)
Software no longer available or supported by Oracle
Note: The support levels described above apply to products that are either under warranty or post warranty support contracts, unless other terms have been agreed to by the customer and Tekelec within their respective agreements.

Customers that are on the above EAGLE Software releases should contact their Sales Representative to develop an Upgrade Plan for affected EAGLE sites.
