X Application Sessions Fail to Resume in Secure Global Desktop 5.1

By default, Secure Global Desktop (SGD) version 5.1 is configured to allow users to resume their previously launched X applications.
In some scenarios, however, SGD users may report that attempts to resume a previously launched session may fail.
- The User logs in, starts an application, then pauses the application
- Later, the user clicks on "Play" or "Resume All", is presented with a progress bar, but the application does not show up.
- Sometimes all applications related to this SGD session disappear.
In this scenario, the X applications provisioned to the user are configured to use the "Client Window Management" Window Type.
Meanwhile, the SGD Administrator may find that the application session the user is attempting to resume is not listed when reviewing the corresponding emulatorsessions at the command line:
