Symptoms
The customer was attempting to upgrade the Firmware on an LPem12002E-S model of HBA by applying patch 149173-05.
After following Document FAQ on Emulex HBA Boot Code/Fcode Firmware and driver patching (Doc ID 1351617.1) the Firmware version on the HBA remained the same.
