Sun Ray Software Configurations Requiring DHCP Framework Access Fail After Installing Oracle Solaris 11.2 SRU 13.6.0 or Upgrading to Solaris 11.3 (Doc ID 2061324.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 25, 2015

Applies to:

Sun Ray Software - Version SRS 5.4 to SRS 5.4.4 [Release 5.0]
Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)

Some Sun Ray Software (SRS) utadm configuration commands will fail during or post installation of SRS if the Oracle Solaris 11.2 SRU 13.6.0 update has been applied to the Solaris 11 system or if the Solaris system has been upgraded to Solaris 11.3.

In this scenario, any of the following example failures can occur when running  /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utadm  commands  that rely on the underlying Solaris 11 DHCP framework commands.

The Oracle Solaris 11.2 SRU 13.6.0 has been applied to a system used by Sun Ray Software or the system has been upgraded to Solaris 11.3
