T5-2 Server Could Hang Due To Old Firmware After Updating To Solaris 11.2 SRU 9

The T5-2 system worked fine with Solaris 11.2 SRU 7. After the server was updated to SRU 9, it went hang in few hours. Rebooting the server temporarily recovered the issue, but it went hang again after a few hours. Updating the server to SRU 12 did not solve the problem.
The symptoms include:
1. The dumping process could fail with error 5. This shows failure to access the dump device.
