Symptoms

Error messages in csci.log
---------------------------------
 - Error in TcpGetHostIpAddress , Message : Failure to obtain local hostname, System Error Number = 36 ,
Error String : File name too long

 - Error in TcpOpen, Message : Failed to obtain system IP address Open failed for connection: TCPCALL.


This site has AS/400 servers with RMLS:
$ dv_config -d | grep START_CSCI_PROCESS
START_CSCI_PROCESS=TRUE

Note: RMLS allows AS/400 backup applications to use the StorageTek libraries managed by ACSLS or LibStation.
         It communicates to ACSLS using the csci process.
