Mac OS X Users Unable to Login to Secure Global Desktop with Safari

Secure Global Desktop (SGD) users may not be able to log into the SGD Workspace when connecting with Safari 9.0 running on Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan). The login hangs on the loading screen and never loads the SGD Workspace page.

Users that enable Java Console diagnostics may show the following type of  messages recorded at the time of login:
