Solaris Cluster SMF service 'svc:/system/cluster/scdpm:default' Failed to Start with "There are no disks to monitor" (Doc ID 2088783.1)

Symptoms

A new node was added to an existing Solaris Cluster. After the installation was finished and the node joined the cluster, the scdpm smf failed to get online and remained in maintenance.

From the smf log file /var/svc/log/system-cluster-scdpm:default.log:
