Symptoms

This is a Solaris 11.2 T5-8 I/O root domain with one SAS card, 'Onboard 8-Port 6Gbps SAS-2/SATA-2 HBA'

mpt_sas[0] -> /pci@6c0/pci@1/pci@0/pci@c/pci@0/pci@c/scsi@0
mpt_sas[1] -> /pci@6c0/pci@1/pci@0/pci@c/pci@0/pci@c/scsi@0/iport@1
mpt_sas[2] -> /pci@6c0/pci@1/pci@0/pci@c/pci@0/pci@c/scsi@0/iport@2
mpt_sas[3] -> /pci@6c0/pci@1/pci@0/pci@c/pci@0/pci@c/scsi@0/iport@4
mpt_sas[4] -> /pci@6c0/pci@1/pci@0/pci@c/pci@0/pci@c/scsi@0/iport@8
mpt_sas[5] -> /pci@6c0/pci@1/pci@0/pci@c/pci@0/pci@c/scsi@0/iport@v0

The four iports of the SAS card can be seen here:

A equivalent SAS HBA from LSI could be the SAS 9207-8i Host Bus Adapter (internal) or the SAS 9207-8e Host Bus Adapter (external)
