Symptoms
NDMP backups are failing on the Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance. The backup application is Commvault.
The ZFS-SA has a HBA installed, with a number of tape drives presented to it via the SAN.
The tape drives appear in BUI Status/NDMP.
Most filesystems are backed successfully, but many are unsuccessful. When the unsuccessful filesystems are backed up individually, they will usually backup successfully.
