SMB Client or Server Does Not Failover To Another Windows Domain Controller (Doc ID 2114452.1)

In Solaris 11 the SMB Client or Server may not be able to authenticate users accessing a share or a mount.
The Windows ADS Server / Domain Controller, the SMB Server or Client had selected, became unreachable or unresponsive.

Following smbd errors may be recorded in /var/adm/messages

Selecting or failing over to another Domain Controller via the discovery process does not occur within several minutes.

The svc:/network/smb/client and/or the svc:/network/smb/server Services have to be restarted to select another Domain Controller.
