After service of a component that involves disconnecting the internal SAS cables from the disk backplane, the system does not boot.
The boot disks are not visible in the BIOS menu.
Hardware maintenance that involves unplugging the SAS cables that connect to the disk backplane.
Service of these parts is known to involve the SAS cabling to the disk backplane:
- System board: part numbers 541-3540, 7025254, 7044431, 7053748, 7077974, 7071038, 7048712 or 7066596
- Disk backplane: part numbers 7053748 or 511-1246
- HBA: part number 7047852
- SAS Cable: part numbers 530-4352, 530-4118, 7076124, 7042258, 7041996, 7044137 or 7044138
