Purpose

Purpose of this document is to highlight the changes of the product that may have an impact on customer network operations, and should be considered by the customer during planning for this release.

Scope

At the time of upgrade to DSR 6.0 and later, a number of features and enhancements will become visible on the interfaces to the DSR and may change certain existing OAM behaviors of the system. There are a number of Security/Access changes provided in DSR 6.0 and later, as described below.

Note: For information on upgrade planning and required steps before the upgrade, please refer to the DSR 6.0 Software Upgrade Guide (E52511-02). For more information on how to access command line in DSR6.0 and later using 'admusr' account, please see Doc ID 2040744.1

Security/Access Changes

Restricted Root Login to Console Only

Scope: All servers in the system

Description: Updates to Platform and Application for latest security updates (NESSUS scan items).

Actions
